Since getting this, my 5 year old son and I have played this game every night. This is easily a 10/10 game and has made for some serious bonding time with my gear head son. Proud to have backed this game.

To start, the game exceeds my expectations. The play is quick to learn and get started. I haven't gone from dismay to utter joy during a boardgame in a long time. Last lap, behind, last turn literally and figuratively, land directly behind opponent (wife) on the drs stretch to zip by for the win. Cheers of joy and groans of dismay immediately like a real race. Fantastic game. Look forward to playing again. If you love F1, get this game.

Lots of new and speedy game mechanics gives Lights Out a fresh take on tabletop racing. It may look like a roll & move from a distance but the ERS, DRS, braking zones and the “rear car moves first” turn order add up to create a new and exciting fun racer. Excellent race board visuals and vehicles too.

Lights Out Racing is an incredible boardgame for everyone, from the F1 fanatics to the non-initiated alike. We've played it multiple times across all the different tracks and had completely different and exhilarating experiences each time.

The mechanics are so unique and clever, from the DRS zones and the ERS deployment and recovery systems - there is so much more strategy in this game than we realised.

Highly recommend to any racing or F1 Fan, and even those non-racing fans who just like a good fast paced and exciting Strategy game.

Fast paced game that still manages to incorporate ERS and DRS. On first glance it might look a bit luck-heavy with the initial roll each turn but you reaally do need to strategise so that you build up your ERS while also positioning yourself to take advantage of the DRS parts of the track. Four circuits offer a variety of challenges and because dice are rolled simultaneously there's hardly any 'down time'.

This game has much exceeded my expectations in every single way...from the packaging to the game pieces, from the look of the track boards to the gameplay...this game is so much fun for my 8 yr old autistic son who I have introduced to the world of F1!!! You made an amazing product and I 10 outta 10 would recommend this game to others!!!

Backed on kick-starter, played a few games, simple rules make it easy for anyone to understand and the gameplay is fast and competitive, highly recommended

We’ve spent countless hours playing it already and it just doesn’t get old. The 4 tracks offer a great variety of gameplay variation and the mechanics are solid for re-playability. The components are VERY high quality too. I highly recommend this game to anyone, even people who don’t know what F1 is!
